As most residents will be aware there is an increasing amount of rubbish that is being discarded into the river brook channel making this area look particularly unsightly and causing a source of frustration for many residents. Following collection and examination of the rubbish it is believed that the majority is being washed into the Stamford Brook area from upstream.

Following extensive discussions and negotiations with the Environment Agency it has been agreed that the instalation of debris netting can be progressed to try and alleviate the problem.

It is intended that this will be fitted to the bridge to the east of the development within the next 3 weeks.
