Upcoming Works To River Brook Corridor
As most residents will be aware under the guidance of th Environment Agency and as outlined in the Stamford Brook Altrincham Landscape Management Plan Ref.617.04.009 (rev D) there are required works which need to be completed to the river brook corridor.
The works which will be completed in the upcoming weeks will involve the removal of some of the self seeded Willow and also some thinining of the vegitation. The debris which is located in the river channel will also be removed. The wood will be chipped on site and then used on the development. This work will aid the flow of water through the development and also improve the habitat for the animals who reside on or near the river brook.
